Recognition Pathways

Pinnacle has developed the following types of Recognition pathways:

• Credit transfer
• Assessment only
• Customised Recognition

Specific ASIC RG146 requirements for Recognition

For the purpose of RG146, individuals applying for RPL including individual assessments will also need to meet the Regulatory Guideline requirement of: “Advisers having at least five years relevant experience over the immediate past eight years in the areas in which they advise”.

Pinnacle will refer to the ASIC training register for sources of information aimed at those students applying under credit transfer. For those courses not listed on the ASIC training register, Pinnacle will only award recognition via mutual recognition (i.e. the correct and required units of competency have been awarded by the issuing RTO. Otherwise, written confirmation must accompany the transcript where the qualification is awarded by a University and not listed on the ASIC training register).
